Abstract: Canadian Solar was founded in Canada in 2001. It was successfully listed on NASDAQ Exchange (Symbol: CSIQ) in November 2006. To date, Canadian Solar has successfully established eight wholly-owned manufacturing subsidiaries in China that manufacture ingot, wafer, solar cells and solar modules. Canadian Solar employs thousands of people globally and has become one of the fastest growing companies in the solar industry. Canadian Solar delivers solar modules to customers in Germany, Spain, Italy, the United States, Canada, Korea, Japan, China and others. The company’s modules have been used in various large, ground-mounted solar power plants, as well as rooftop solar power systems. Highly effective and efficient, they perform in different climate zones and can be either grid-connected or off-grid power systems. Canadian Solar has set up a strong administrative and operational infrastructure in Guelph, Ontario to offer complete solutions for residential, commercial, agricultural and utility scale installations in Ontario. As Canadian Solar Solutions’ parent company, Canadian Solar Inc. provides the core of each photovoltaic solution they develop.
