Workshop on Building a Community of Practice in Smart Grid Cyber Security

Call for Participation

In collaboration with the DRDC and BCIT, the ECE Department at the University of Toronto is organizing a Workshop on Building a Community of Practice in Smart Grid Cyber Security on May 26-27, 2016 in Galbraith Building (35 St. George Street) Room 202.

The objectives of the workshop are:
1) To open up a dialogue amongst experts and provide a venue for the community to work together to establish R&D ideas and requirements for safety and security of emerging power systems;
2) To put forward ideas for collaborative research to submit to the DRDC-CSS program for possible funding.

We open a broad invitation to those in industry, government and academia to participate. Security is as strong as the weakest link and an open and effective dialogue is critical to address the growing national needs to protect critical energy infrastructure.
