Evanescently Excited Photobioreactor for Biofuel Production My current research focuses on micro-scale, evanescent growth of cyanobacteria for direct biofuel synthesis. Cell-level illumination and microfluid nutrient delivery will allow for significantly higher culture densities and greater control of growth conditions, solving a number of problems plaguing existing setups.
