Friday, October 19th at 2:10 in MC102: MIE Seminar Series presents Professor Zoubeida Ounaies from Penn State University on “Nano-Enabled Functional Polymers for Actuation and Energy Storage”

Fundamentally, electroactive polymers or EAPs are characterized by mechanisms such as piezoelectricity, electrostatic actuation and electrostriction. In this presentation, Professor Zoubeida Ounaies will focus on the use of nanoscale fillers as a strategy to push EAPs to the next level in terms of performance and opportunities.
