The NSERC CREATE Program in Distributed Generation for Remote Communities invites you to join us for our 3rd annual research symposium on Friday November 21st from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.


1:00 – 2:00 – Lunch and Poster Session, held jointly with the University of Toronto’s Institute for Sustainable Energy

2:00 – 4:00 – Presentations by select Faculty and Trainees.

The NSERC CREATE Program in Distributed Generation for Remote Communities (DGRC) provides research and training opportunities for students at the University of Toronto and Queen’s to develop clean energy technologies for distributed generation systems that work in the remote settings of Canada. Through partnerships with community, institutional, and industry stakeholders, the program aims to provide trainees with a diverse research and training program that is internationally unique, launching them into successful careers in the energy sector.
